Background

Maureen is a strategic finance executive with a proven track record of providing leadership, problem solving, and value creation within and for private equity, Fortune 500, and private businesses – from transactions and transitions to spin offs, sale and IPO readiness, loan restructuring, and cost-cutting/value creation. Maureen’s insights and process improvement expertise have helped influence the financial direction of a diverse clientele.

Her recent experience has been with companies navigating transitions and/or transactions, including: sale readiness; carve outs, S-1 preparation, postacquisition integration, cost-cutting, establishing FP&A capabilities, working with investment bankers, due diligence, and quality of earnings. Maureen focuses on optimizing people, processes, and systems with a focus on value creation.

Maureen was a finalist for the 2018 LA Business Journal CFO of the Year, Large Private Company.

Relevant Experience

  • Completed $155 million debt restructuring with Key Banc & HIG at a reduced borrowing rate.

  • Sale readiness for $200M revenue company: Co-led Investment Banker Bake-off process; worked with KPMG to develop Quality of Earnings and Piper Jaffray to prepare Confidential Information Memorandum.

  • Developed financial infrastructure including NetSuite implementation, financial reporting, and BOD reporting for $100M personal care private equity acquisition.

  • Established North America FP&A function and BOD reporting for private equity acquisition of $700M laminate/engineered services business.

  • Reduced costs $30M in business restructuring due to loss of key customer.

  • Finance lead for the carve out and financial components for Sears Hometown & Outlet IPO.
